Nintendo Wii Fit Plus gets NHS backing

October 26th, 2009

The NHS is set to give Nintendo Wii Fit Plus its official backing, bigging up the benefits of the balance board game to kids and adults who’d rather sit on their backside than get stuck into exercise. Change4Life is aimed at getting people to exercise and eat healthily, exactly the opposite of the louche lifestyle that the government has said regular computer games encourage. Wordless Wednesday - how did I miss a day?

April 3rd, 2009

I managed to conveniently skip a day this week, it seems. But better late than never, right? And this is a good one… What I earn here and there from blogging finally managed to allow us the opportunity to get a Wii… and a Wii Fit! It’s the only way I could justify such a splurge. We’ve had it for about a week now, and LOVE it. It’s been a blessing during these rainy days we’ve had all week. For more Wordless Wednesday, visit the Wordless Wednesday HQ and 5 Minutes for Mom !
